The object, and what marks it out
Sleeve, labels and inserts
- Outer sleeve - standard artwork with a Brazilian rear and applied red stickers.
- Inner sleeve - blue printed paper, double sided, with lyrics and the Eddie image. Not cardboard.
- Labels - the eye/Eddie artwork in its usual purple and green, with Portuguese rim text and a registration number after every track.
- Vinyl - black, with a blue oval sticker applied to the disc face.
What distinguishes this pressing
- A purple label, which is the discriminator: Discogs describes the other Brazilian candidate as having “the label is blue instead purple.”
- A printed paper inner sleeve, where that same candidate has “a heavy cardboard innersleeve.”

Condition, from the photographs
A photograph cannot grade a record - this is a description of what is visible, not a grade.
- Sleeve: general handling wear with some edge and corner softening; no splits or seam separation visible in these shots.
- Vinyl: light surface marks and handling sheen catch the light. No visible deep scratches, warping or edge damage in these photographs. The labels are clean and unmarked.
Nothing on this page comes from playing the record. No Goldmine grade is claimed for it, or any other. I have no record of where this copy came from.

Which way the colour evidence runs. Discogs records no label colour for 3736905; what it records is that 8962951's label “is blue instead purple”. So the purple label does not confirm 3736905 - it excludes 8962951, which is a different thing and the only thing the note can support. The same holds for the inner sleeve, except there 3736905's own entry does describe printed paper, so that one cuts both ways.
This was the test folder 12 was waiting for, and it has now been done. That folder sat at Narrowed (2) between the same two candidates, and what separated them - inner-sleeve material, with label colour as corroboration - needed no new photography at all: IMG_0652 in its own folder shows a creased, dog-eared paper inner, which is not heavy cardboard. Folder 12 is now Confirmed as this same release, so 12 and 39 are a duplicate pair.
Standing caveat: this method cannot exclude a pressing absent from Discogs.
