The object, and what marks it out
Sleeve, labels and inserts
- Obi - the original red-and-white strip, complete, around a standard jewel case.
- Shrink-wrapped - the case is in its wrap with the obi held under it.
- Condition - wrap creased; obi clean and fully legible.
- No disc photograph, and none possible without breaking the seal. The promo's
SAMPLEdisc marking could not have been checked - but its jacket sticker could, and was.

Condition, from the photographs
A photograph cannot grade a record - this is a description of what is visible, not a grade.
- Outer wrap: the original shrink-wrap is intact and unbroken. It is creased and in places clouded, which is what the photographs show through.
- Packaging: no splits, cracks or corner damage visible through the wrap.
- Disc: not visible. The copy has not been opened, so nothing is recorded here about the disc's surface, its matrix ring or its SID codes.
Nothing on this page comes from playing the record. No Goldmine grade is claimed for it, or any other. I have no record of where this copy came from.
What is settled, and what is not
Settled because the promo wears its marking where a sealed copy can still be read. TOCP-50699 returns the commercial enhanced reissue and a promo of it, and Discogs says the two are identical apart from a 見本品 sticker on the jacket and a SAMPLE mark at the disc centre.
The disc is behind a seal and always will be unless the seal goes. The jacket is not: front, back and obi are all photographed, and none carries the sticker.
The obi's retail price, 定価2,548円, is not a second argument, though it reads like one: 16296017 is recorded as identical to the commercial release apart from the sticker and the disc mark, which means it carries this same priced obi. The whole exclusion rests on the sticker.
So the exclusion rests on an absence - but on an absence checked across every exterior surface the marking is recorded as appearing on, rather than on one frame.
Standing caveat: a Japanese pressing absent from Discogs cannot be excluded.
