The shell's paper label reads 89 • 34 • Ü • 008 • TCP • 2286, which is 15093759's recorded identifier KTB 89.34.Ü.008.TCP.2286 character for character - the 1988 Turkish row 6299160 records KTB 88.34.Ü.008.2286, a different year code with no TCP segment. And the front panel is not the album's standard artwork but the fur-maned Eddie head, matching 15093759's note Alternate cover art. A third Turkish row is also excluded and it matters here: 12269714, the 1993 repress, carries the same registration string but a clear shell printed directly on the plastic. This copy has 15093759's Paper Print label - which is folder 82's identification in the mirror

Sleeve, labels and inserts

  • Shell - smoke-grey plastic with a printed cream paper label on both faces, screwed rather than welded.
  • Inlay - glossy card, English tracklist with a Turkish rights notice, carrying a holographic foil panel on an inner face.
  • Banderole - a yellow Turkish tax sticker on one shell face, serial VCF 0098363, intact. Folder 57's copy carries KCU 0089645: the serials differ per copy, as they should.
  • Condition - card creased along the folds; label clean and the full registration string legible.

What distinguishes this pressing

What is settled, and what is not

Settled on the same registration string as folder 57, and now with a third Turkish copy on the shelf to argue against. TCP 2286 returns the 1988 issue and the 1989 alternate-cover reissue; the registration string and the cover art both select the reissue.

What is new since folder 57 was written is folder 82. That copy carries the same 89.34.Ü.008.TCP.2286 string but a clear shell printed directly on the plastic, and it belongs to 12269714, the 1993 repress. So the registration string alone does not finish the job - the shell construction does, and 15093759's format text names it: Paper Print. This copy's label is paper. Folder 82's is not.

Three Turkish tapes are now filed here and each is a different row: folder 64 (88.34.Ü.008.2286, standard art, 6299160), this one and folder 57 (89...TCP..., alternate art, paper label, 15093759), and folder 82 (89...TCP..., alternate art, direct print, 12269714).

Standing caveat: a Turkish pressing absent from Discogs cannot be excluded.
