  • Shell - clear plastic printed directly in white, Capitol dome logo at the left. The sides are named SIDE ONE / SIDE TWO, where the three US Capitol copies on this shelf (folders 61, 62 and 80) read PROGRAM 1 / PROGRAM 2.
  • No XDR marking anywhere on shell or card, again unlike the US copies, which carry the boxed XDR on both.
  • Inlay - six-panel U-card with lyrics, credits and photographs.
  • Condition - card square and complete; shell clean.

What distinguishes this pressing

  • The Columbia House distributor line - the discriminator, and the only thing on the object that separates this from the US club edition. It matches 9550342's note verbatim, including 815 Middlefield Road and the postal code M1V 3M3.
  • Bilingual Distributed by / Distribué par - Canadian labelling practice, corroborating the address rather than repeating it.
  • Catalogue number C4-590258 - the match axis. It returns two rows, one Canadian and one American, which is exactly why the distributor line has to carry the identification.
  • SIDE ONE / SIDE TWO rather than PROGRAM 1 / PROGRAM 2, and no XDR - a real difference from the US copies in this collection, recorded because it is visible and repeatable. Neither Discogs row records shell wording, so it cannot be used to choose between them.

The U-card names Columbia House at 815 Middlefield Road, Scarborough, Ontario, under licence from Capitol Records, which is 9550342's recorded note and an unambiguously Canadian address.

The shell wording (SIDE ONE / SIDE TWO, no XDR) is a genuine physical difference from the three US copies filed at folders 61, 62 and 80, and it is recorded above - but neither Discogs row describes its shell, so it corroborates the reading without contributing to it.

Standing caveat: this method cannot exclude a club pressing absent from Discogs.
