- Shell - black plastic, horizontal textured pattern, silver print,
MADE IN CANADAmoulded into the body. Indistinguishable from 54 and 55. - Inlay - glossy colour J-card, blue inner panels in yellow and white.
- Case - standard clear library case.
- Condition - comparable to folder 55 and better than 54: creased at the folds, no writing, corners lightly softened.

What is settled, and what is not
Settled by the owner on 2026-09-18 -- the closing paragraph of this section says so, and the grade above follows it. What comes first is the photographic case exactly as it stood before that, present tense and all: where it says this copy stops at Narrowed, it means the photographs stop there, which is still true and is why the candidates are still listed.
Third copy, same release, same unresolved pair. Canada is established on the object twice - the printed licence line with its Mississauga street address, and MADE IN CANADA moulded into the shell itself.
C4 90258 narrows the master's 134 cassette rows to 29212252 and 4627984. They share a release date of 1988-04-11, a barcode, a manufacturer and a descriptor set; the only asymmetry is that 29212252 records Black horizontal pattern on shell. and 4627984 records nothing about its shell. This copy has that shell, so 29212252 leads - and cannot be confirmed, because silence excludes nothing.
What would decide it, for all three copies at once: either 4627984 gaining a shell description that differs, or a plant or date code somewhere on the tape. Neither exists today. Until then the honest reading is that this shelf holds three copies of one Canadian release that Discogs currently lists twice.
Standing caveat: this method cannot exclude a pressing absent from Discogs.
Pinned by the owner, 2026-09-18. Everything above is what the photographs support on their own, and it is left standing unedited. On top of it the owner, holding the cassette and reading the candidate release pages against it, identifies this copy as Discogs 4627984, and the folder is graded on that. It is an owner's judgement, not a new detail in the frames: withdraw it and the case reverts to the narrowing above.
