Read under raking light on the play side, in the mirror band: a pixel-style ring reading WWW.MEDIAMOTION.COM 3329002 @ 1, then, in a separate engraved (not pixel) lettering further round, 010112. The @ is a small boxed pixel glyph, transcribed as @, and matches how Discogs writes the same symbol on the sister rows. Beside it, on the outer edge of the band, the mastering SID IFPI LW03; on the clear hub the moulding SID IFPI AAHC5, read on three separate frames. Ring joined here as WWW.MEDIAMOTION.COM 3329002 @ 1 010112 (the 010112 is set off from the 1 by a gap on the disc). The IFPI codes are left out of ring=.

Sleeve, labels and inserts
- Jewel case with a black and gold printed insert; the disc is a black silk-screened face printed in gold with a spiral track list.
- Sixteen tracks, ending with Fear Of The Dark (Live From Death On The Road), which is the 2005 reissue running order.

A sixteen-track greatest-hits compilation issued in 2002, compiled by Nick Watson and digitally remastered by Simon Heyworth at Chop 'Em Out. The recordings it collects were made across two decades by several different Iron Maiden line-ups, so no single set of session credits applies to the record as a whole; the release credits Martin Birch and Steve Harris as producers of the material it draws on, liner notes to Steve Harris, front-cover illustration to Tom Adams, and publishing to Zomba Music Publishers Ltd.
Compilation and remastering credits are sourced from Discogs release 380225, the EMI CD, and apply to the 2002 release rather than to this pressing. Where this copy's own packaging carries the producer, publisher or copyright lines, they are quoted in the evidence above.
Condition, from the photographs
A photograph cannot grade a record - this is a description of what is visible, not a grade.
- Case/inlay: general handling wear with some edge and corner softening; no cracks or splits visible in these shots.
- Disc: light surface marks and handling sheen catch the light. No visible deep scratches or disc-face damage in these photographs.
Nothing on this page comes from playing the record. No Goldmine grade is claimed for it, or any other. I have no record of where this copy came from.
What is settled, and what is not
Probable, on release 1133268 (Europe, 2005). The ring text, the LW03 mastering SID, the Made in EU statements and the 332 9002 price code all sit on that row, and the other Europe row records a different ring. Not Confirmed: the hub SID IFPI AAHC5 matches neither of the 010112 variants listed there, so the exact variant is not on Discogs as read, or a listed SID is mistyped. Two Thailand rows (20754064, 36320086) list no ring or SID at all, so nothing recorded on them rules them out; the Europe-only ring and the EU manufacture lines point away from them, but that comes from the copy and not from their listings. A pressing missing from Discogs cannot be excluded. A photograph of 1133268's own hub SIDs would settle the AAHC5 question.
