The object, and what marks it out
Sleeve, labels and inserts
- Outer sleeve - single (non-gatefold), the standard Derek Riggs artwork, locally printed. The rear carries the Greek manufacturer's block quoted above in place of the UK barcode-and-catalogue block.
- Trade sticker - a small blue
STEREO / 062-7902581sticker applied to the rear. This is the local catalogue number, and it matches the label. - Inner sleeve - present, printed both sides: the clairvoyant painting on one face, lyrics and band photograph on the other. Discogs records this release as "issued with a double-sided printed inner sleeve with lyrics and eddie image", which is exactly what is here.
- Labels - the EMI globe design in yellow, green and violet, as the UK original, but with a locally set block adding

What distinguishes this pressing
AEPI(ΑΕΠΙ) on the label - the Greek rights society. The UK copy in folder 1 has no society mark at all in that position; folder 7 hasAGADU.Made and Printed in Greece by EMI GREECEand the EMIAL S.A. Athens and Thessaloniki addresses, in place of the UK rear-cover block.MT 14797/A/A 14797- a Greek print-order number appearing on both the sleeve and the label. It is the single most useful mark on the copy: Discogs records it against this release and no other.062-7902581- the Greek catalogue number, on the label and on the trade sticker. Not to be confused with Spain's072 79 02581.- The label retains the UK number as
EMD 1006-A-Balongside the Greek catalogue number - the UK reference was kept rather than replaced. - Pressed by Columbia, Athens, per Discogs - the Greek edition was manufactured at a local plant, not imported.

Condition, from the photographs
A photograph cannot grade a record - this is a description, not a grade.
- Sleeve: noticeable edge and corner wear with some creasing, heaviest at the corners; general surface handling marks and mild ring wear. The blue trade sticker is intact.
- Inner sleeve: present and complete; visible creasing and edge wear.
- Vinyl: light surface marks catch the light across the shots. The labels show a small area of scuffing near the spindle hole on the side photographed. No visible deep scratches or warping in these photographs.
Nothing on this page comes from playing the record. No Goldmine grade is claimed for it, or any other. I have no record of where this copy came from.
What is settled, and what is not
Confirmed. Beyond country and catalogue number, the sleeve's MT 14797 matches the MT 14797 that Discogs records for release 2661964 - that is the release-specific discriminator. The label's A/A 14797 carries the same number and corroborates it, but is a photograph transcription only: Discogs does not list the A/A form, so it is not independently confirmed there. Greece's only other vinyl entry for this album is a later reissue with a different catalogue number (0777 7 90258 1 7), which this copy is not.
Standing caveat: this method cannot exclude a pressing that is absent from Discogs altogether.
Still open - nothing material. For completeness, a photograph of the run-out groove would confirm the stampers. Discogs records this release's etching as EMD-1006-A-2-1- "VERY DIRECT METAL" STERLING D on side A and EMD-1006-B-2-1 "IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT BOLLOCKS" D on side B - i.e. cut from the UK Sterling Sound masters. (Quoted from Discogs as what to look for; no run-out was photographed, so nothing about this copy's etching is claimed.)
