Japanese Toshiba EMI VHS. The spine carries TOVW-3042 with the VHS logo, the rear carries "MADE IN JAPAN" and "東芝EMI株式会社", and the cassette label repeats "MADE IN JAPAN"; that matches Discogs 13512480 (Japan, EMI, TOVW-3042), the only VHS on the master with that number. The owner note "TOLW-3042 4 988006 066243" agrees with the rear sleeve, which does print TOLW-3042 beside an LD mark and the barcode 4 988006 066243, but TOLW-3042 is the Laserdisc number: it is Discogs 2101226, a 12" Laserdisc (TOEMI LaserVision), and that release is ruled out because the object is a VHS cassette with TOVW-3042 on its spine and the insert prints both numbers, "TOLW-3042 TOVW-3042". The printed barcode 4 988006 066243 differs from the 4988006066250 recorded on the Laserdisc release; the VHS release has no cached Discogs record here, so the barcode could not be checked against it and is corroboration only. The note therefore helped separate the VHS from the Laserdisc but did not pick between VHS candidates. The video standard is not printed on anything photographed; NTSC comes from the Discogs entry, not from the object. Only one candidate survives, but the version list is incomplete by construction, so an uncatalogued Japanese VHS pressing cannot be excluded, and no second release-specific detail was available to promote it to Confirmed.

  • VHS cassette in a clear plastic sleeve case with the printed jacket inside; the spine strip carries the Japanese title, price and TOVW-3042.
  • Black cassette shell with a green paper label on the face and a matching green spine sticker; the shell moulding carries "71309KN6" and "105" on the edge, and a small white sticker reading "0D10A095" sits on the grey underside. Neither is a catalogue number and neither was used to identify the release.
  • Includes a large folded insert: one side a grey poster of the Eddie-on-motorbike artwork with Japanese liner notes and the track list, the other side English lyrics.
