Europe, 2014. The Parlophone box, 2564622290, opened but with its three LPs (Iron Maiden, Killers, The Number Of The Beast) still in their own shrinkwrap. The box prints all eight albums on its rear; Discogs records that it only ever held the first three.

- Box - a rigid red carton, square-cornered, with the white
IRON MAIDENlogo and title on the front and the eight-album thumbnail grid on the rear. No shrinkwrap over it in any frame; the box has been opened. No frame shows the inside of the box. - Three LPs photographed: Iron Maiden, Killers and The Number Of The Beast, each in its own clear shrinkwrap, film visible over the front and rear of every sleeve. The frames show the sleeves outside the box, stacked together.
- Not seen: the discs, their labels and run-outs, any inner sleeves, and whether the cardboard spacer Discogs mentions is still in the box.

The three sleeves photographed are those three.

An eight-album box issued in 2014, printed as collecting the albums from Iron Maiden (1980) to Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son (1988). This describes what the carton states. What a particular copy actually holds is in that copy's own dossier, and nothing there extends past the records that were photographed.
Condition, from the photographs
A photograph cannot grade what's sealed inside - this describes only the box and shrinkwrap that are visible, not a grade of the records within.
- Box: front and rear photographed; no crushing or splitting is visible in those two frames. The inside of the box was not photographed.
- Contents: three LPs, each still in its own shrinkwrap. The discs have not been seen, so their pressing and condition are unverified.
Nothing on this page comes from playing a record or breaking a seal. No Goldmine grade is claimed for it, or any other. I have no record of where this copy came from.
What is settled, and what is not
The box and its three sleeves are identified; the discs are not, because each LP is still sealed. The box carries 2564622290 and a barcode that only release 6178023 records on this master, and each of the three sleeves carries the barcode and catalogue number Discogs lists for its own album under that release. The two BMG versions (BMG14047V, US and Canada) carry neither.
What would settle the rest: the run-outs Discogs lists for this release (the BC83151-01, BC83142-01 and BC86756-01 families) and the centre labels can only be read with the film off, and breaking a seal is a separate decision this filing does not make.
