Every line below was read off a native-resolution crop of the photograph named beside it.
Inner mirror ring photographed on the play side under raking light in four close frames. Read: EMI SWINDON (letters E-M-I, S-W-I-N-D-O-N in stepped dot-matrix type), then 835819 2 and . 1, the last two seen most cleanly in the crops. A run of hyphenated characters between them shows a 1, hyphens, a 5 and an N, with scratches over it; the owner typed this group as 1-1-15-NL and that is not confirmed here beyond the 5 and N. No IFPI or SID code was legible in any frame. ring= is left empty because the middle group cannot be quoted as read.

What is settled, and what is not
A sharper, straight-on raking-light shot of the ring section between 835819 2 . 1 and EMI SWINDON (tilt so the scratches fall out of the band) would show whether the middle group really is 1-1-15-NL, which would allow checking it against the stamps recorded on Discogs releases 14144812 and 3039697.
