The object, and what marks it out
Sleeve, labels and inserts
- Blood red translucent vinyl, single LP, still sealed in its original shrinkwrap -- every sleeve photograph is taken through the wrap, and the disc was photographed through the open top edge and where the wrap gapes, not removed from it.
- Black hype sticker applied to the front cover over the artwork, bottom left, listing the three singles and the red vinyl.
- Printed inner sleeve: band photograph on one face, full lyrics and credits on the other, with
46905in the bottom left corner of the lyric face. - Both run-out bands carry hand-etched characters plus a stamped
STERLING, which is what separates the stamped mark from the etched ones on this copy. - Sleeve corners are lightly bumped and the wrap is creased across the middle of the rear, but the artwork underneath is unmarked.

Condition, from the photographs
A photograph cannot grade a record - this is a description of what is visible, not a grade.
- Sleeve: general handling wear with some edge and corner softening; no splits or seam separation visible in these shots.
- Vinyl: light surface marks and handling sheen catch the light. No visible deep scratches, warping or edge damage in these photographs. The labels are clean and unmarked.
Nothing on this page comes from playing the record. No Goldmine grade is claimed for it, or any other. I have no record of where this copy came from.
What is settled, and what is not
The catalogue number and the country are not in doubt. E 46905 reads cleanly on both labels, the rear sleeve barcode ends 46905 - 1, and the New York Epic manufacture block puts the sleeve in the US without any inference from a rights society. Exactly one vinyl row in this master's version list normalises to that number: 1887059, the US limited edition, and the red vinyl in front of the camera is what its Limited Edition descriptor is about.
What holds it at Probable is that there is nothing to compare the run-out with. Both run-outs were photographed and read -- AL-46905-1A, DMM and a stamped STERLING on side 1, BL-46905-1A, G, DMM, A and STERLING on side 2 -- which is the strongest evidence a vinyl LP offers, but no release JSON for 1887059 is cached, so the etchings cannot be checked against what Discogs records for that release. Fetching that release page and matching its Matrix / Runout identifiers against these two strings is what would settle it. The version list is incomplete by construction, so an uncatalogued pressing carrying the same number cannot be ruled out either.
The owner's note reads side 1 as AL-46905-1A G DMM 3 STERLING and side 2 as AL-46905-1A G 1 DMM A STERLING. Every element the photographs carry agrees, and the note's G on side 1 and 3 sit in the band where one shallow etched character shows but does not resolve. Side 2's prefix crops as BL-, not AL-, and that matches the BL 46905 printed on that label.
