The 2002 greatest-hits double, pressed as picture discs rather than black vinyl -- the crest with 666 on the shield fills side III, and there is no paper label anywhere on either record. The only vinyl version the master lists.
What the record says
Every line below was read off a native-resolution crop of the photograph named beside it.
Run-out fragments, machine stamped into the picture-disc surfaces. One side reads 031 C-1-1; another shows 5431 03 with a D; the side carrying the XX prefix shows XX 543 and 31; and a PS suffix is legible on one side. No side was captured as one unbroken string and sides A and B were not identified, so what is recorded here is four partial readings, not a four-side set.

A sixteen-track greatest-hits compilation issued in 2002, compiled by Nick Watson and digitally remastered by Simon Heyworth at Chop 'Em Out. The recordings it collects were made across two decades by several different Iron Maiden line-ups, so no single set of session credits applies to the record as a whole; the release credits Martin Birch and Steve Harris as producers of the material it draws on, liner notes to Steve Harris, front-cover illustration to Tom Adams, and publishing to Zomba Music Publishers Ltd.
Compilation and remastering credits are sourced from Discogs release 380225, the EMI CD, and apply to the 2002 release rather than to this pressing. Where this copy's own packaging carries the producer, publisher or copyright lines, they are quoted in the evidence above.
Condition, from the photographs
A photograph cannot grade a record - this is a description of what is visible, not a grade.
- Sleeve: general handling wear with some edge and corner softening; no splits or seam separation visible in these shots.
- Discs: printed picture surfaces, not black vinyl and with no paper label on either side. Light surface marks and handling sheen catch the light; no visible deep scratches, warping or edge damage in these photographs.
Nothing on this page comes from playing the record. No Goldmine grade is claimed for it, or any other. I have no record of where this copy came from.
What is settled, and what is not
Confirmed. Country, catalogue number, label code and rights society all agree with 410671, and it is the only vinyl version on this master. The version list is incomplete by construction, so an uncatalogued picture-disc pressing cannot be ruled out -- but nothing on this copy points away from 410671. A raking-light photograph of each of the four run-outs read end to end would turn the variant-2 fit from consistency into a reading. Two numbers here are worth adding to Discogs, neither of which it records: 7243 5 43106 1 4, printed round both discs, and 5431061, printed on the inner sleeve.
