- Shell - clear plastic, printed directly onto the plastic (no separate paper label) in a cream ground with a red-boxed EMI logo, black title text and red Spanish boilerplate; side markers boxed
1and2. - Inlay - glossy folded J-card matching the LP cover art, with a full bilingual tracklist inside and a boxed anti-piracy warning citing a statute by number.
- Case - standard clear library case, with a previous owner's sticker on the front.
- Condition - cream shell ground shows scattered grey soiling; both labels fully legible despite it; a fine diagonal scratch crosses the tape window on side 1.

What is settled, and what is not
Peru is solid; original-vs-repress is not. The inlay states its own distributor outright - DISTRIBUIDO POR DISCOS HISPANOS DEL PERU S.A., AV. AREQUIPA 3440 - LIMA 27 - a direct territory statement rather than an inference, and it is common to both candidates that share the catalogue number.
The catalogue number GE.02.0034, stamped identically on both shell faces and repeated on the inlay spine beside the LP cross-reference CE.02.0034, returns exactly two rows in the committed version list: 10959157 (Peru, EMI, 'Album, Stereo', 1986) and 22366300 (Peru, EMI, 'Album, Repress, Stereo', 1987). Their only recorded difference is that 22366300 is catalogued as a repress a year later. Nothing read off this copy maps onto that distinction - the shell carries no date or plant code, and the inlay's (p) 1986 / (c) 1986 line is the phonogram and composition copyright date, printed on every pressing of this recording regardless of when that particular tape was run off, not a manufacturing date.
The owner's own transcription - tape GE 02.0034, cover CE.02.0034 and GE.02.0034 together - matches what these photographs already show and doesn't add a mark that isn't already here.
What would decide it: any plant, printer or date code on a surface these photographs don't cover - the inner shell halves and the tape hubs - or a Discogs description of either row's shell that this copy could be checked against; today, both rows are silent on shell appearance. Failing that, this resolves only if one of the two rows gains a distinguishing note or the pair turns out to be one release listed twice.
Standing caveat: this method cannot exclude a pressing absent from Discogs.
