Sleeve, labels and inserts
- Outer sleeve - single, standard artwork.
- Inner sleeve - present, printed both sides.
- Labels - the EMI globe design, with the Capitol oval added beside the EMI box. The only copy in this collection showing two record-company logos on the label.
What distinguishes this pressing
- The Capitol logo beside the EMI logo. Iron Maiden was issued through Capitol across North America, and this label carries both marks.
C1-90258- the Capitol number. Discogs shows the sameC1-90258on the US and Barbadian pressings; Europe used the79 0258 1family instead.- Rim text naming Capitol Records - EMI of Canada Limited as manufacturer and distributor under licence.

Condition, from the photographs
A photograph cannot grade a record - this is a description of what is visible, not a grade.
- Sleeve: general handling wear with some edge and corner softening; no splits or seam separation visible in these shots.
- Vinyl: light surface marks and handling sheen catch the light. No visible deep scratches, warping or edge damage in these photographs. The labels are clean and unmarked.
Nothing on this page comes from playing the record. No Goldmine grade is claimed for it, or any other. I have no record of where this copy came from.
What is settled, and what is not
Confirmed. Beyond country and catalogue number, the secondary number C1-2-90258 printed on the label matches the string Discogs records as release 422006's side-B label matrix - a release-specific cross-check. It is the only Canadian vinyl edition listed.
Standing caveat: this method cannot exclude a pressing absent from Discogs altogether.
Still open - which stamper variant. Discogs records two run-out variants for this release, differing in a trailing number (Dm- 13 / Dm- 25 against Dm- 12). Part of the etching already appears at the edge of one existing frame, so the groove is legible on this copy - it simply was not the subject of that shot. A square-on, raking-light photograph of the run-out groove on both sides would identify the variant. (Quoted from Discogs as what to look for; nothing about this copy's etching is claimed here.)
